Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
14 days with 100 GB and 2 computers, and no payment details. Sync between the studio and the laptop and share analytics are included. The AI summaries and covers come with a paid plan; the trial gets a one-time preview of the AI-written Today's plan on its third day. Pick a plan when you're ready and it all carries over.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. Annual billing charges 10 months for 12, so two months are free. You can switch between monthly and annual whenever you like.
Can I add storage without upgrading?
Yes. Extra storage is $8 per 250 GB per month on any paid plan. Once you need a full extra terabyte, moving up a plan usually gives you more for the same money.
What happens if I cancel?
At the end of the period you paid for, new backups and uploads stop. Everything already backed up stays there to browse, play and download for 12 months (90 days after a trial you never paid for), and then it is deleted. We email you before that date, and downloading never needs a subscription.
Won't versions eat my storage?
No. Identical files are stored once, Git-style, and only changed files upload. A new version usually adds megabytes.
